Prehab before esophageal surgery: a feasibility test in older patients

Summary

This study tested whether a program to improve physical fitness, nutrition, and sleep before surgery is possible for older adults with esophageal cancer. Fifteen patients aged 65 and older who had completed chemotherapy or radiotherapy took part. The goal was to see if patients would join and stick with the program, not to measure health outcomes.
