Pre-Surgery boot camp may cut incontinence after prostate procedure
NCT ID NCT07552961
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week program of pelvic floor exercises, extra health information, and mental health support before prostate surgery can help men recover faster and reduce short-term urine leakage. Forty men with enlarged prostates will be split into two groups: one gets standard care, the other gets the pre-surgery program. Researchers will track how well the program works and if it safely improves recovery.
