Summary

This study tested whether a natural substance called pregnenolone can reduce PTSD symptoms in 96 Iraq/Afghanistan-era veterans. Over 10 weeks, participants took either pregnenolone or a placebo and had regular check-ins and assessments. The goal was to see if this supplement could ease the mental and physical effects of PTSD.
