Tablet app aims to fight anemia and high blood pressure in pregnant women

NCT ID NCT05752955

Summary

This study tested whether a digital health program on tablets could help community health workers better screen and manage health risks for pregnant women in rural India. Over 3,400 women participated to see if the program could reduce anemia and improve follow-up care for high blood pressure and diabetes after pregnancy. The program guided health workers through check-ups and referrals, comparing results to standard care.
