Scientists hunt for blood clues to predict dangerous pregnancy conditions
NCT ID NCT04205383
Summary
This study aimed to find early warning signs in the blood for serious pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia. Researchers measured specific proteins in 115 women across three groups: those with normal pregnancies, those with placental complications, and healthy non-pregnant volunteers. The goal was to see if these protein levels differ between groups, which could lead to earlier detection and better care.
