Summary

This study tested a new MRI method to better predict stroke risk in people with intracranial atherosclerosis, a condition where arteries in the brain become narrowed. Researchers measured how well different parts of the brain responded to changes in blood flow. The goal was to find better ways to identify who is at highest risk and guide treatment decisions. 33 adults with this condition took part.
