First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study uses advanced brain scans to investigate a newly discovered brain network, called SCAN, in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers want to see if this network is disrupted in Parkinson's and how it connects to other brain areas. The goal is to find a specific brain circuit that could be targeted with future treatments. The study involves 120 participants, including people with Parkinson's and healthy volunteers.
