Summary

This study looks at how a person's genes affect their response to the painkiller methadone after heart surgery. Researchers will study 400 patients aged 60 and older to see if certain genetic markers can predict better pain control or fewer side effects like nausea and breathing problems. The goal is to move toward personalized pain management for older adults.
