Summary
This study is testing whether giving part of the radiation treatment before breast cancer surgery is safe and might lead to better cosmetic outcomes. The research involves 103 patients with early-stage breast cancer that hasn't spread. Doctors hope that targeting the radiation while they can still see the tumor on scans will help spare more healthy tissue and potentially improve tumor control.
