Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing whether giving focused radiation before surgery for brain metastases can delay tumor regrowth better than standard care. About 49 adults with solid tumors (not lymphoma or germ cell) and at least one brain metastasis will receive three daily doses of radiation to the tumor before it is removed. The study measures how long it takes for the cancer to progress in the brain and overall survival.
