Can cooling vests save brain function after cardiac arrest?
NCT ID NCT07421882
First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether cooling cardiac arrest patients right after their heart restarts, using a special vest worn in the ambulance, is practical and safe. About 50 adults in Singapore will take part. The goal is to see if this early cooling can be done smoothly by paramedics, so a larger study can later check if it helps protect the brain.
