NCT ID NCT07175740
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested how different types of meals eaten before exercise affect blood sugar levels after exercise in men with type 2 diabetes. Fifteen participants completed five sessions: fasting, or eating a meal rich in glucose, fructose, fat, or aspartame before a one-hour workout. The goal was to see which meal led to the biggest drop in blood sugar. Results help understand how meal choices can improve exercise benefits for blood sugar control.
