First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 27, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a new robotic ankle exoskeleton designed to help stroke survivors walk more easily. Fifteen people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago will walk on a treadmill, over ground, and on stairs while wearing the device. Researchers will compare walking with the powered exoskeleton to walking without it to see if it reduces effort and improves movement.
