Could potato powder ease pain for breast cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07443943

Summary

This study is testing whether a dietary supplement made from resistant potato starch can help reduce joint pain and stiffness in people taking a common type of breast cancer medication called an aromatase inhibitor. Researchers believe the starch may help by promoting healthy gut bacteria. The study will involve 20 people with early-stage breast cancer or those at high risk, who are about to start this medication.
