Summary

This study tested whether a 12-session parenting group therapy, called the Connecting and Reflecting Experience (CARE) program, is helpful and doable for new parents experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety. Seventeen parents with infants aged 3 to 12 months took part. The goal was to see if the program could ease mental health symptoms, reduce parenting stress, and improve the bond between parent and baby.
