First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at two types of birth control pills (drospirenone and norethindrone) to see which one helps control blood pressure better in women who had preeclampsia during pregnancy. About 50 women will take one of the pills for 6 weeks after leaving the hospital. The goal is to find out which pill keeps blood pressure in a safer range and reduces the need for extra blood pressure medication.
