NCT ID NCT07050485

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a daily postbiotic gummy can help restore healthy gut bacteria after surgery for colon or other gastrointestinal cancers. Thirty adults scheduled for surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the postbiotic or a placebo gummy for two weeks after their operation. The main goal is to see if the supplement improves the diversity of bacteria in their stool compared to the placebo group.
