Scientists investigate the roots of persistent Post-Concussion headaches
NCT ID NCT04369729
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed study looked at 101 adults who developed headaches within 7 to 56 days after a mild head injury. Researchers used brain scans, blood tests, and pain sensitivity tests to find clues about who might develop long-term headaches. The goal was to better understand the mechanisms behind persistent post-traumatic headache, not to test a new treatment.
