This study tests whether slowly reducing the dose of the steroid dexamethasone after brain tumor surgery can lower side effects like high blood sugar and poor wound healing, while still preventing brain swelling. About 200 adults with certain brain tumors will be randomly assigned to either a standard or a tapering steroid schedule.
