Summary

This study tested a new program designed to check for memory and thinking problems in older adults after they leave the intensive care unit (ICU). It involved 109 people aged 60 and older who had a long ICU stay. The program screened patients at 6 weeks and 6 months after discharge and offered a support plan to those who needed it.
