Summary

This study uses a special PET scan to look for signs of inflammation in the brains of people with Post-COVID syndrome. Researchers want to learn more about why some people have long-lasting symptoms after a COVID-19 infection. Ten Mayo Clinic patients who had COVID-19 and are experiencing ongoing issues will be scanned with an experimental imaging drug called C-11 ER176. The goal is to better understand the condition, not to test a treatment.
