New imaging technique could sharpen radiation targeting in prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT06580015
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a special PET scan called Posluma can help doctors plan radiation therapy more precisely for prostate cancer. About 20 patients will get both a standard PET scan and an extra scan on the RefleXion X1 machine. The goal is to see if the new scan finds the same cancer spots, which could lead to better, real-time radiation delivery in the future.
