Home medical scanners aim to catch diseases before symptoms appear
NCT ID NCT07209527
Summary
This study is testing whether portable ultrasound and blood glucose monitoring devices can help doctors detect chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease earlier than standard care. 200 participants at risk for these conditions will use the devices at home for 6 months while researchers compare their results to people receiving regular care. The goal is to see if these accessible tools can spot health problems before symptoms develop, potentially leading to earlier treatment.
