Summary
This study looks at whether training volunteers to visit older adults with memory loss or dementia can improve the volunteers' skills and reduce loneliness in the people they visit. About 342 volunteers and clients in Minnesota are taking part. The training is part of the volunteers' normal onboarding, and researchers are analyzing surveys to see if it helps.
