Summary
This study tested a new type of artificial lens (PODEYE TORIC) for people having cataract surgery who also have astigmatism, a condition where the eye is shaped like a football instead of a basketball. 261 adults received either the new lens or a standard lens to see if it safely corrects vision better. The goal was to reduce blurriness from astigmatism after surgery.
