First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special ultrasound score (DUCS) to guide diuretic dosing improves outcomes for people hospitalized with acute heart failure. About 128 adults will be randomly assigned to standard care or ultrasound-guided care. The goal is to see if this approach reduces deaths, shortens hospital stays, and speeds up fluid removal.
