First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study reviews data from 5,000 adults who had surgery to find out how often thinking problems (like memory loss or confusion) occur after an operation. Researchers will look at test results from before and after surgery to estimate how common these issues are. No new treatments are given; the goal is simply to learn more about the condition.
