Summary
This study tested a therapy called proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) in 42 people with Parkinson's disease. PNF uses gentle stretching and movement patterns to improve trunk mobility, walking, and balance. The goal was to see if it could reduce fear of falling and improve quality of life. The study is complete, and results may help guide future rehabilitation for Parkinson's.
