First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jul 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study, called PLINTH, is a feasibility trial for adults who had a stroke from a brain hemorrhage. Researchers want to know if patients and doctors would accept a future platform trial, and how to design it to be inclusive and efficient. About 169 participants will watch an informational video, give consent, and be interviewed at 3 and 14 days after their stroke. No new treatments are being tested here.

What this could lead to
If successful, this study will help design a larger trial that could find better treatments for brain hemorrhage.
