First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will look at how well platelets (blood cells that help stop bleeding) work in 40 adults on a life-support machine called ECMO. The goal is to understand why some patients have serious bleeding problems. Researchers will measure platelet function over time and check for links to bleeding events, blood thinners, and inflammation.
