First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a plant-focused diet can improve nutrition in adults with end-stage kidney disease who are on peritoneal dialysis and are malnourished. About 100 participants will be randomly assigned to either a plant-focused diet or a standard kidney diet and followed for 6 months. Researchers will track changes in nutrition, blood tests, kidney function, and quality of life to see which diet works better.
