Can eating plants stop cancer before it starts?
NCT ID NCT04920084
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a 12-week whole food, plant-based diet is practical and helpful for overweight people with early blood cell conditions (MGUS or smoldering myeloma) that can sometimes turn into cancer. Researchers want to see if participants can stick to the diet, lose weight, and whether this approach might help prevent progression to multiple myeloma. They'll also check if the diet is safe and how it affects quality of life.
