Can a Plant-Based diet protect transplanted kidneys?
NCT ID NCT06186843
Summary
This study is testing whether switching to a plant-based diet can improve heart health and reduce inflammation in people who have received a kidney transplant. Researchers are helping 25 participants follow the diet for at least 16 weeks, with training and support. They will measure changes in weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and markers of inflammation to see if the diet helps control long-term health risks.
