NCT ID NCT07666958
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week program combining individual physiotherapy, group movement-awareness sessions, and group psychotherapy can improve physical function, reduce fatigue, and enhance quality of life in 45 adults with multiple sclerosis. Each participant serves as their own control, with assessments before and after the program, including brain MRI scans to look for changes in brain connections. The goal is to see if this non-drug approach can help people with MS stay active in daily life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
physiotherapy, movement awareness sessions, and psychotherapy
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a non-drug rehabilitation program that helps people with MS move better, feel less tired, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a small early study with only 45 participants and no control group, so results may not apply to everyone. The program is time-intensive, and benefits may vary.
