First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether a structured physical training program can improve symptoms in people with ankylosing spondylitis, a type of arthritis that mainly affects the spine. Fifty-six adults with the condition were randomly assigned to either the exercise program or usual care. The main goal was to see if more people in the exercise group reported at least a 20% improvement in their symptoms.
