First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested whether a 6-month program using an activity tracker and weekly quizzes could improve quality of life and reduce fatigue in women with metastatic breast cancer. 124 women starting chemotherapy were randomly assigned to either receive the activity program plus recommendations, or just recommendations alone. The goal was to see if the program helped them feel better and stay active longer.
