Light therapy may ease Parkinson's symptoms, small study hopes

Summary

This study tests whether shining special light on the whole body (photobiomodulation) can help with movement and thinking problems in people with Parkinson's disease. About 15 adults with mild to moderate Parkinson's will receive light sessions three times a week for 10 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in motor skills, balance, and memory to see if the therapy is safe and helpful.
