First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether photobiomodulation (a type of light therapy) can help female futsal athletes run faster and recover better during high-intensity exercise. Fifteen women aged 18-35 who have played futsal for at least two years will receive either real or placebo light treatment before sprint and endurance tests. The goal is to see if the light therapy improves repeated sprint ability and aerobic capacity.
