New hope for tough breast cancer: early trial combines three drugs

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug, ASTX727, added to standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy for people with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination can shrink or stabilize tumors better than standard care alone. About 32 adults with this aggressive cancer will participate.
