Summary
This study used PET scans to look at dopamine and blood flow in the brains of 502 people, including healthy volunteers and those with Parkinson's disease or schizophrenia. The goal was to understand how these conditions affect brain function and to compare inherited versus non-inherited forms of Parkinson's. Participants also had MRI scans to rule out other brain issues.
