NCT ID NCT06098612

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing a new radioactive tracer called [11C]SY08 to see if it can detect clumps of a protein called alpha-synuclein in the brain using PET scans. Researchers will scan 40 people, including those with Parkinson's disease, multiple system atrophy, dementia with Lewy bodies, and healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand how the tracer behaves in the brain, not to treat any disease.
