Can enzyme pills ease Post-Pancreatitis gut troubles?

Summary

This study tests whether taking pancrelipase (CREON) for 6 months can improve symptoms of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) after a bout of acute pancreatitis. About 60 adults with low fecal elastase and bothersome symptoms will receive the enzyme treatment. Researchers will track symptom changes using surveys and lab tests.
