Summary

This study tested whether a personalized exercise program helps people with early-stage lung cancer or cancer that spread to the lungs recover better after surgery. 182 participants were randomly assigned to either the exercise program or usual care. The main goal was to see if the exercise group could walk farther in six minutes after surgery.
