This trial is testing whether advanced PET-CT scans can spot early signs of heart damage caused by standard radiation therapy for locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Ten adults with stage III lung cancer will receive a special PET-CT scan before and three months after their radiation treatment. The goal is to see if changes in blood flow to the heart can be detected early, which could help prevent long-term heart problems.
