First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a new, personalized brain stimulation method for people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Using AI and real-time brain readings, the device customizes electrical stimulation to target each person's specific memory-related brain areas. Ten participants will undergo 6-8 weeks of treatment paired with computer-based memory training. The goal is to improve learning and memory, and to see if this low-cost, non-invasive therapy can eventually be used at home.
