New device aims to save lives from deadly lung clots

Summary
This study compares a new device called FlowTriever to standard treatments for people with a severe type of blood clot in the lungs (high-risk pulmonary embolism). The goal is to see if the device can lower the chances of death, heart stopping, major bleeding, or needing a breathing machine. About 200 adults with large clots and heart strain will take part.
