Summary

This study looks at standardizing the surgical process for patients with advanced or recurrent rectal cancer that has spread to nearby organs. The procedure, called pelvic exenteration, removes the tumor along with affected structures. The goal is to improve teamwork among surgeons and track patient outcomes and quality of life. Twenty-four adults will take part over three years.
