First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a peer-based health education program could help African American men understand prostate cancer genetic screening better. About 149 men with or without a personal or family history of prostate cancer took part. The goal was to see if talking with a trained peer could reduce confusion and change attitudes about genetic testing.
