Summary

This study aimed to understand how different pressure settings on a breathing machine affect heart function in young children with congenital heart disease. Researchers monitored 58 children under 5 years old who were on ventilators. They carefully adjusted pressure levels and used ultrasound and other tools to measure changes in how the heart pumps blood.
