First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at how changing the pressure in a breathing machine (ventilator) affects the heart's ability to pump blood in children under 5 with congenital heart disease. Researchers tested different pressure levels in 58 children to see how their hearts responded. The goal was to learn how to better manage breathing support for these young patients.
